Network as fast as...

On this project, we had the pleasure of working with some of Serbia’s most recognizable online personalities, bringing a series of ridiculous, all-too-familiar situations to life in a studio that quickly became its own little universe. The script came from our friends at Žiška, while the visual treatment, direction, and production were completed in-house at Mother. Our idea was to make the whole film feel like one continuous, slightly chaotic ride, with the camera becoming part of the action rather than simply observing it. We used playful transitions while characters’ own movements took us from one personality to the next, gradually revealing that all this madness was happening inside the same studio.

Each moment played on the creators’ familiar online personas, with barely a second to catch your breath. Maka took on hosting duties, Stefano played a thirty-something guy going through an identity crisis, Dunyevača was being Dunyevača — always one cringe joke away from making things awkward — and Marko was getting ready to prank his grandma. And just when things couldn’t get any stranger, in came animated influencer Naky with a surprise cameo, laser eyes and all.
