Italian rap icon Ernia, and Parajumpers' cutting-edge fashion meet again in Belgrade's brutalist landscapes. We joined forces to co-produce content for the upcoming Parajumpers SS25 collection. The creative part was ran by the photographer Mattia Guolo (represented by Glow and Sons) and stylist Gianlucca Zapoli. As stated on the PJ's official website, at the heart of this initiative was to show "the city’s striking modernist architecture and raw, urban vibe".

It's a cold December morning in Belgrade. The crew has just arrived from Milan and Venice. Fog curls around our boots as we gather outside the Avala Tower. It's early and misty, and we're making our way to the plateau to begin the first scene. After the initial setup under the tower, we move to the bridge, where we photograph the drone scene.
From the early stages of pre-production, we knew we wanted to shoot at the Avala Monument, just a few kilometers from the Tower. We move there as the sun slowly begins to break through, bringing a bit of warmth.

Next stop: Blok 62, Novi Beograd — a frequent shooting location for foreign crews drawn to its socialist modernist vibe. As the brand puts it: "The backdrop not only amplifies the bold essence of the collaboration, but also reflects Ernia’s underground influences, merging music and fashion in a seamless dialogue of style and individuality."
Finally, the long-awaited evening scene shot using long exposure. Extensive location scouting was done to find the perfect viewpoint, and this one stood out from the very beginning: a clear view of the concrete landscape, with a church emerging in the foreground. After a full day of shooting across Belgrade’s most striking locations, the vision had finally come together. With the desired results achieved, the crew was satisfied and we called it a wrap.
